Welcome to Administrative Humanities:
We hope that your butler enjoys visiting our website. But then again . . .
Merely having a butler seems to be an expensive anachronism that few can afford--and those who can foot the bill for a footman no doubt have plenty of silver to polish and wine that needs decanting. So, the idea of asking Jeeves to cruise the web for you seems ill-fated at best.
At the other end of the rainbow of impossibilities--far from the morass of things doomed to failure--is the golden cauldron of that which has never been given much of a chance or even tried.
There, we believe, you can find the humanities in large supply. Ideas and ideals from Art, Philosophy, Literature, History, etc. are often viewed as treasures of the Ivory Tower, but how often is it that this wealth of wisdom is drawn upon to inform and improve the way that universities and other institutions run, or to soften the hard edges of a bureaucratic machine?
Not often and not enough . . . with the noteworthy exception of medical humanities.
This site is dedicated to emulating the medical humanities by strengthening the currents of the humanities that are presently trickling weakly through our institutions.
Thank you for finding your way to this nascent web site.
Best wishes from
